2015 Tournaments! - UPDATE!

Hi Everyone!

As usual there will be several contests and tournaments at the show this year.

We will have the traditional Pinball Tournament as always, with a variety of games, skill levels, and of course fantastic prizes!  Qualifying starts on Friday from 7pm-midnight and continues on Saturday from 10am-midnight.  Kids' finals will be held Saturday night at 5:00pm. And of course, the Panic Park contest will be back once again!  This is a crazy event with some twists beyond the usual wackiness of Panic Park.  There are some rounds that just call for extra interaction with the player, and your hosts mean to apply it!  You'll have to wait to get the details, but there will be Easter Egg prizes in addition to the cash and of course a cheezy crown for the overall champ chosen from the two bracket winners.  The plan is to run two 16 player single elimination brackets with a $3 entry, all cash awarded to the top 3 places in each of the two brackets.  You'll love it, but will need to sign a waiver!  Planned times for the two brackets are 6 PM** time change** Saturday and 4 PM Sunday.  Signup will be before the tournaments.  For ALL the details and up to the minute information on the Panic Park Tournament, be sure to check out the California Extreme Tournaments Page!

The Donkey Kong Series – Level 1 - High Score Challenge!

Paul Dean is back once again and will be hosting a high score competition!  Who is the overall best player of all the classic Donkey Kong games??  Find out in the "The Donkey Kong Series – Level 1 - High Score Challenge"

All three of Nintendo's classic arcade games (Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong, Jr., and Donkey Kong 3) will be played in series (Level 1 ONLY, 1 Life ONLY) and combined scores will give the final results.  This will be a competition of skill requiring the player to get the most number of points possible on each game's Level 1 screen which involves taking far more risk than just clearing the screen.  Your game is over when Level 1 is complete or if you die before completing the board. 

There will also be a "Meet and Greet" with some of the great players from the 80's such as Paul Dean, Eric Liddell, Michael Klug and many others.  Other surprise guest(s) may show up as well if they can fit it in their schedules.  This should be a great high score contest and get-together with some of the Guinness legends of the 1980’s.
