mmmm wait a min (The Act game)

i just looked through the game list for 2008 and i noticed that The Act game are listed as "The Act (prototype animation game)".
The Act at the CAX08 was a prototype?

Since the game never went into wide production, all of them are "prototypes" in the generic sense of the word.
